Introduction

Pitambar Bhattarai is from Bhattarai Danda. It is a beautiful place in Sankhar, Syangja, Nepal. His grandfather is Lilanath Bhattarai. He used to live in Mohami at Hatiya. "Hatiyamathi" became the basic identity to recognize the entire family of Lilanath. Hatiyamathi, the house, lies above the Hatiya in Mohami. Hatiya is the place where bartering system used to take place among them in ancient era. According to his grandmother, Rishi Kumari, they came to Bhattarai Danda in 1945 with two daughters. They built a small house at Bhirale in the last row of Bhattarai Danda. So, they are known as Puchharghare at the beginning but when they bought a piece of land from Majhare they came in the center of Bhattarai Danda. Where above 30 houses of Bhattarai family exists. Among them Lilanath's family is called Tintale. Because they had built three storied house in 1958. He is the first person to build such house in Bhattarai Danda.
